Canada’s Moka Only is back with new single No, and its exactly the level of quality you’d expect from one of the hardest working rappers of all time (don’t believe us? He’s dropped close to 100 projects since the mid-90s).
Aceyalone – ‘Ghetto Blaster’
West coast indy legend Aceyalone has dropped a video for new track Ghetto Blaster, produced by Bionik. Its a departure from the usual Acey sound we know and love, and so far the jury is still out. Watch for yourself below and let us know what you think.
Malik B & Mr Green – ‘Rips in the Paper’/’Dark Streets’
Malik B and Mr Green have been spoiling us with new music from their Unpredictable album, and the onslaught continues with a video for Rips in the Paper. The flick is on a 70s video nasty slasher tip, which makes a nice change from the usual boring hip-hop visuals.
They have also released album track Dark Streets, featuring the one and only R.A. The Rugged Man. Watch and listen below.
Elzhi – ‘February’
Slum Village veteran Elzhi tells us about the perils of one of the most depressing months of the year with new track February. As you’d expect, there are some references to the death of his old friend J Dilla in there, who passed in February 2006.
Killah Priest – ‘Lotus Elephant’
Killah Priest has released a short, crazy-as-fuck video for new track Lotus Elephant, from his upcoming Prelude to the Planet of the Gods project, which itself should be coming later in the year. Confused? So are we.

Just Blaze – ‘Miracle’/’Moleskin Conclusion’
Just Blaze dropped two new instrumental tracks over the weekend, and you can listen to Miracle and the wonderfully-named Moleskin Conclusion below. The first track seems to have passed through the hands of the biggest in the game, none of which decided to use it. For what its worth, we could definitely hear Jay Electronica on both of these joints.
eMC – ‘The Tonite Show’ trailer
With so much talent involved, it was no surprise when 2008’s The Show album from eMC turned out to be a certified classic. If you didn’t know, eMC is the hip-hop super-group formed of the legendary Masta Ace, plus Wordsworth, Punchline and Stricklin. New album The Tonite Show drops in May, and with guest spots from Sadat X and beats by Diamond D, its looking like it could be another winner. Watch the official announcement video below.
