The 10th anniversary of J Dilla’s death is almost upon us, and with the Dilla Weekend taking place in Miami over the next few days, a lot of Jay Dee tributes have popped up online this week. Here close friend J. Rocc and Karriem Wiggins recreate a couple of Dilla classic down in the Stones Throw dungeon.

Stones Throw have unleashed a new track from Guilty Simpson, to help promote a string of tour dates. Its produced by Quakers man Katalyst, which suggests this is probably a song that didn’t quite make last year’s excellent Detroit’s Son album. Listen below.

Stones Throw recently celebrated Cassette Store Day by releasing Champion Sounds B-Sides & Remixes, featuring reworkings of tracks from 2003’s epic pairing of J Dilla and Madlib, Champion Sound. This remix of Heavy from Madlib is nothing new, but those who have never heard it can stream it below.
White Boiz – ‘Main St’
The new Neighborhood Wonderful album from White Boiz (Krondon from Strong Arm Steady and Shafiq Husayn from Sa-Ra) is set to be released on Stones Throw real soon, and here we get a video for the single Main St. Watch below.
