J Dilla left a huge archive of unused beats when he passed, and the latest to bag one is Detroit artist MC Magnif. The Last is taken from a special 7″ vinyl release coming soon from Fat Beats, which also features the previous Dilla/MC Magnif collabo, The Shining Pt 2. Listen on the link below.

D.I.T.C. legend Diamond D keeps the momentum of his 2014 The Diam Piece album moving with this new video for Jose Feliciano (don’t know that name? Shameful). As videos go, this one is hella cheesy, but there’s no way we ain’t posting up new music from Diamond.
Add-2 – ‘Set It Off’
Add-2 releases this second single from new album Prey For The Poor, and this time JAMLA honcho 9th Wonder is providing the beat himself. It’s an impressive effort, and you can listen below. Look out for the album coming next week.

Details were kept to a minimum a few weeks ago when Mello Music Group dropped the first single from new group Semi Hendrix, #4081. We figured Ras Kass was just featured on it, but it turns he is actually one half of the group, with Jack Splash making up the other half.
