“We just used the pen to express our feelings about the police brutality against Blacks that go way before there was color TVs. Sheisty Khrist and Lofidel have dropped a video for Havana Nights, from their Cold Winter album. Its a nicely-shot film, and features guest vocals from CunninLynguists rapper Natti. Watch below, and let us know what you think.
Lexington’s Sheisty Khrist and Lofidel revisit their Cold Winter LP with a video for the standout track “Havana Nights” with Natti of CunninLynguists.
“There are beats; there are rhymes; there are songs; and then there are organisms. Havana Nights is an organism. There is nothing contrived about it. It clings to you like sweat. No matter how many times you try to wipe it away you can’t rid yourself of it. Not everyone can survive the heat.”
If you haven’t picked up Cold Winter yet, you’re seriously missing out. Sheisty is one of the most-underrated talents in the game.
