Talib Kweli has dropped this new single out of nowhere, as what looks to be an appetizer for a new, free album named Fuck The Money dropping real soon. Musically its a drastic change of pace, but the content of the verses is as relevant and raw as ever. Listen below and let us know what you think.

Mello Music Group have introduced a new group, the brilliantly-named Semi Hendrix, and this first single from them is pretty awesome. Referencing a certain A Tribe Called Quest lyric we’re all very familiar with, the track has fast flows, a nice beat, and a guest spot from Ras Kass. Before his sad death last weekend, Sean Price and Duck Down Records were busy prepping the release of new mixtape, Songs In The Key of Price. This new track from Schama Noel is simple but effective. Dope beat, dope rhymes. We don’t know much about the Florida-based artist who also goes by the name The Rapper Emulator, but we look forward to hearing more soon. Listen below.
Dom Pachino – ‘Warheadz’
Wu-Tang Clan affiliates Dom Pachino (Killarmy) and Bronze Nazareth connect on this joint from Pachino’s new album, War Poetry. It gets a little boring, and it’s kind of ridiculous that those Killarmy boys are still so obsessed with war and military imagery, but this joint is nevertheless worth a listen.
Verbal Kent – ‘Notes’
Ugly Hero man Verbal Kent is gearing up for the release of new album Anesthesia with this video for Notes. It’s a well done flick with a good story, and the music is dope too. Watch below, and keep your eyes peeled for the album on September 11.

Mac Miller has posted this unreleased track recorded with Sean Price, who we all know tragically died last weekend. It has a banging beat from Nottz, and sounds nice. Listen below.

Project Blowed stalwart Abstract Rude has gathered one hell of a line-up of guest emcees on new posse cut Kan of Whoop Ass (Reprise), including Blueprint, Open Mike Eagle and LMNO. It’s taken from his recent Keep The Feel album, and you can watch the animated lyric video below.
