With so much talent involved, it was no surprise when 2008’s The Show album from eMC turned out to be a certified classic. If you didn’t know, eMC is the hip-hop super-group formed of the legendary Masta Ace, plus Wordsworth, Punchline and Stricklin. New album The Tonite Show drops in May, and with guest spots from Sadat X and beats by Diamond D, its looking like it could be another winner. Watch the official announcement video below.
Ghostface Killah and BADBADNOTGOOD – ‘Sour Soul’ (stream)
You can now listen to a full stream of Ghostface Killah and BADBADNOTGOOD album Sour Soul, just ahead of its official release. The set features plenty of classic Ghost lines, plus guest spots from MF Doom, Danny Brown and more. Speaking of DOOM, now that this album is out, hopefully they can get moving on that long, long awaited GhostDOOM/DOOMStarks/whatever else they end up calling it album.

That long awaited new Cannibal Ox album is just around the corner, and the group have treated us to another track, Blade: The Art of Ox. This one features The Artifacts (both of em!), and Wu-Tang legend U-God. It’s also produced by Black Milk, which is always a sure-shot sign of quality.
