Godfather Don – ‘The Final Unreleased Project’ sampler
The Chopped Herring label is giving us yet more gems, this time a set of unreleased tracks from indy legend Godfather Don. Judging from the short sampler below, the vinyl-only release is shaping up to be great, so look out for it when it drops. No Question in particular sounds grimy as shit, which is exactly what we wanted.
Czarface – ‘Sgt Slaughter’
If you still need convincing that the new Every Hero Needs a Villain album from Czarface (7L & Esoteric, Inspectah Deck) is dope, then this video for Sgt Slaughter will definitely sway you over towards the dark side. Picking up from where the video for The Great (Czar Guitar) ended, its another crazy-as-fuck flick, and you can watch it below.
R.A.W. – ‘Glisten’ feat. Lil’ Fame
Beatnick Dee – ‘Creative Medicine’
Killa Kali & DirtyDiggs – ‘Broccoli Soup’
Rome Cee – ‘Independence Day’
Ghostface Killah – ’12 Reasons to Die II’ (stream)
The New York Times has bagged early streaming of the new Ghostface Killah and Adrian Younge album 12 Reasons to Die II, and you can hear it on the link below.
