Mello Music Group have introduced a new group, the brilliantly-named Semi Hendrix, and this first single from them is pretty awesome. Referencing a certain A Tribe Called Quest lyric we’re all very familiar with, the track has fast flows, a nice beat, and a guest spot from Ras Kass. Video appearances from MF Doom don’t come around too often, but the metal faced one has recorded this short message in tribute to Sean Price. Wu-Tang Clan affiliates Dom Pachino (Killarmy) and Bronze Nazareth connect on this joint from Pachino’s new album, War Poetry. It gets a little boring, and it’s kind of ridiculous that those Killarmy boys are still so obsessed with war and military imagery, but this joint is nevertheless worth a listen.
Verbal Kent – ‘Notes’
Ugly Hero man Verbal Kent is gearing up for the release of new album Anesthesia with this video for Notes. It’s a well done flick with a good story, and the music is dope too. Watch below, and keep your eyes peeled for the album on September 11.
