Duck Down celebrate what would have been Sean Price’s birthday with the release of this video for Soul Perfect, from his final album, Songs In The Key of Price.
Damn you, Macklemore. Popular wisdom is that we are meant to dislike his music, but its hard to deny the dopeness of this new track, with a guest verse from KRS-ONE, and cuts from DJ Premier. Props to Buckshot and the whole Boot Camp Click. Listen here.
The sadness of the death of Sean Price has meant Rock, his partner in rhyme, has struggled to create a tribute track. He’s finally recorded one though, and its a hard-ass tribute, expressing the anger he felt at having nothing to blame sean’s death on.

With tributes still pouring in from far and wide, its safe to say that the legacy of Sean Price will last for years. In the meantime, Duck Down Records have released what is likely to be the final video from P, for Figure More, from new album Songs In The Key of Price. Songs In The Key of Price is finally out, albeit now released under a whole different atmosphere since the sad death of Sean Price. A last minute artwork change, due to legal shit, means that early copies have now become collectors pieces, but you can stream the short but dope project below.
