Already being championed by DJ Premier and others, we look forward to hearing more from crew members Menace and Bliz when their This Is For Us album drops in August. DJ Premier goes sightseeing in Moscow
DJ Premier recently took time out from the PRhyme tour to go exploring Moscow, but what we like most about the video is how humble Primo still is that hip-hop has enabled him to even go to a place like Russia. Its also good to hear him talk about Gang Starr family like Jeru The Damaja and Group Home, once again suggesting that bridges have been rebuilt. We are itching for more on the hinted Primo/Jeru reunion, so hopefully that finally happens soon.
Big Shug – ‘Showtime’
Big Shug has released another single from his Triple Ogzus album, and its another banger. The Gang Starr family member goes in as hard as usual, and the guest spot from M-Dot is nice too. Listen to Showtime below, then go get the album.
