Last month we got a taste of the new De La Soul album with the For Your Pain and Suffering EP, but today we get the first proper track from And The Anonymous Nobody, featuring none other than Snoop Dogg.

De La Soul – ‘Sho Nuff’
The Gods De La Soul mark the 25th anniversary of one of the greatest hip-hop albums of all time, De La Soul Is Dead, by unearthing a track from the 1991 sessions that didn’t make the final cut.
De La Soul – ‘For Your Pain & Suffering’
While we continue to wait patiently for the Kickstarter funded and the Anonymous Nobody… album from De La Soul, we’ve been gifted this four-track EP, said to include some music from the full album, plus other tracks than didn’t make the cut.
Muja Messiah – ‘Silk Road’ feat. Maseo
The Chosen Few – ‘Time Capsule: The 1991 Demos’
Dres – ‘Ain’t No Day The Sun Don’t Shine’ feat. Jarobi White & Yaw
Original A Tribe Called Quest member Jarobi White and Black Sheep rapper Dres are keeping the spirit of the Native Tongues alive with a video for Ain’t No Day The Sun Don’t Shine, from a few months back. It also features Yaw, and you can watch below.
Slum Village – ‘Yes!’ album stream
After a string of singles, we now get to hear the entire new Slum Village album early, a week before it drops. We knew it had J Dilla beats, but not this many. Not that we are complaining about that. Guests include De La Soul, Black Milk and more, and you can stream the whole damn thing below. Let us know what you think.
Slum Village – ‘Right Back’ feat. De La Soul
Vursatyl – ‘Crooked Straights’ album sampler mix by Maceo
De La Soul – ‘God It’ feat. Nas
New music from De La Soul is always good news. When it has Nas on it, even better. You won’t find God It on the new Kickstarter-funded album, but it is being presented as a teaser of things to come. Check it out on the link below, and let us know what you think.
