Sean Price – ‘Songs In The Key of Price’
Songs In The Key of Price is finally out, albeit now released under a whole different atmosphere since the sad death of Sean Price. A last minute artwork change, due to legal shit, means that early copies have now become collectors pieces, but you can stream the short but dope project below. Don’t forget that you can also still donate to the Sean P family fund here.
Tragedy – ‘Nuff Said’
EL RTNC – ‘Sacre Coeur’
Producer EL RTNC has released yet another collection of dope instrumentals, with more of the same rich and varied samples and breaks we’ve come to expect. Listen to Sacre Coeur below, then go support it with a purchase.
First Division – ‘This Iz The Time’
There’s now a video for the DJ Premier produced This Iz The Time joint we posted a few weeks ago, and judging from the wardrobe of different Primo and Gang Starr tees the guys from First Division are rocking in the flick, its safe to say they are pretty excited about getting a beat from the maestro. Watch below, and keep a lookout for the Overworked & Underpaid album coming soon.
Onra – ‘Anything’ feat. The Doppelgangaz
The latest single from French producer Onra and his Fundamentals album features those crazy kids, The Doppelgangaz. As with most videos that feature Matter Ov Fact and EP, its a weird one, but the jazzy track bubbles away nicely in the background to keep it all grounded. Watch below, and shout us your comments.
James D. Brown 3rd – ‘Be Sure’
Fatnice – ‘Freedom Rings’
Last time we heard from Fatnice it was on the awesome joint You Know The Name, from his excellent It’s Nice To Meet You album. He’s back with a new track named Freedom Rings, taken from issue #03 of the Ready to Rock comic book/record series. Watch below, and let us know what you think.
Schama Noel – ‘Real Hip-hop’
Dom Pachino – ‘Warheadz’
Wu-Tang Clan affiliates Dom Pachino (Killarmy) and Bronze Nazareth connect on this joint from Pachino’s new album, War Poetry. It gets a little boring, and it’s kind of ridiculous that those Killarmy boys are still so obsessed with war and military imagery, but this joint is nevertheless worth a listen.
